The helmet is a real Bell HP-77 helmet, exactly like the one Norris would have used while racing.
Norris, regarded as one of the true rising stars in European racing, was a member of the McLaren Young Driver Program, winning the F3 Championship in 2017 and finishing second in F2 the following year. The British-Belgian driver made his F1 debut in 2019 with McLaren, and opened his second season on the podium with a third-place finish in the Austrian GP at the Red Bull Ring. The 2021 season would be his breakout year, helping McLaren to a 1-2 finish at Monza in what was Norris’s career-best finish, second to McLaren teammate Daniel Ricciardo, and scoring 3 other podium finishes. He ended with season in 6th place in the overall drivers’ standings. In 2022 he has a brilliant 3rd place finish at Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
