2018 Marco Andretti Signed Race Used Phoenix “Mario Tribute” IndyCar Helmet
Bell helmet worn by Marco Andretti in 2018 to honor the 25th anniversary celebration of his grandfather Mario’s final career race win. Marco’s #98 Andretti Autosport Honda car, suit, and helmet all had the retro livery that matched the one Mario had used in 1993.
The HP7 EVO II was used by Marco at the 2018 Desert Diamond West Valley Phoenix Grand Prix. It was painted by Indicol Art and has a silver base color with a thick red-pointed band, edged in blue running central, three quarters over the top of the helmet (back to front). The vents, holes, aero chevrons and wear & tear have been airbrushed onto the helmet to replicate Mario’s ’93 helmet. The helmet also has up-to-date decals from Honda, US Concrete and Oberto, as well as both IndyCar tech stickers which are also still in place. Marco Andretti has personally signed the helmet with added race details, and comes with a full Certificate of Authenticity.
This helmet would be a superb addition to any collection and one that honors one of the greatest racing families in motor sport.
