2019 Jeg Coughlin Jr. Signed Race Worn NHRA Drag Racing Suit
This suit was used by Jeg Coughlin Jr while driving in the 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series in the Pro Stock Class. Couglin Jr, a 6 time NHRA Drag Racing World Champion, is the son of Jeg Coughlin Sr, founder of Jeg’s High Performance, one of the USA’s largest online and mail order aftermarket/performance automotive parts companies.
Coughlin Jr. holds several NHRA records. He is the only driver to collect victories in four categories in one season, when in 1997 he won in Pro Stock, Super Stock, Competition and Super Gas. He is also the only professional drag racer to win from all 16 qualifying spots. The final record he holds is as the only driver to win a national event in seven different classes: Pro Stock, Comp, Super Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas and Top Dragster.
