2021 Pierre Gasly Race Used Italian GP AlphaTauri F1 Helmet
This helmet is a one-off special all white design just for the Italian GP. This Bell helmet was worn by Frenchman Pierre Gasly during the 2021 Italian Grand Prix while driving for AlphaTauri. Gasly qualified in 6th for the Sprint race, where he was then taken out by contact with Daniel Ricciardo (Daniel would go on to win the GP Race, which had been won the year before by Gasly). This GP is where the infamous crash at Turn 1 between Lewis and Max occurred.
Gasly was retained by AlphaTauri for 2021, partnered by Japanese rookie Yuki Tsunoda. He promptly qualified fifth for the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix. He then scored points at the following six races, including his third career podium at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Gasly would finish the season ninth in the overall drivers’ standings with 110 of AlphaTauri’s 142 points, his highest ever points tally in a single season.
The helmet has been signed by the Gasly on both the visor in silver marker and on the crown of the helmet in black marker as well as noting ‘Italian GP 2021″ . The helmet comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
